The latency has 3 Senses.

• rotational latency, latency
• 回転待ち時間
• (computer science) the time it takes for a specific block of data on a data track to rotate around to the read/write head
• データトラック上の特定のデータのブロックが、回転して読み出し／書き込みヘッドに到達するのにかかる時間

• response time, latent period, latency, reaction time
• 潜伏期
• the time that elapses between a stimulus and the response to it
• 刺激からそれに対する反応が起きるまでに経過した時間
